Application
Cold Mix Asphalt (CMA; Product name: Mieszanka Na Zimno “KAREX”) is used for partial repairs of bituminous surfaces, concrete and breakstone surfaces. It is used to fill potholes, spaces around plates or channels, as well as expansion joints. It is used for levelling surfaces around metal elements, such as around manholes or in level crossings.
Produced Cold Mix Asphalt has 0mm – 8mm aggregate. The finish product is sold in sealed 25kg bags.
The CMA can be used at an ambient temperature of -20°C to +40°C. in order to ensure the workability during application, the temperature of the CMA shall not be lower than 5°C. In winter, it shall be stored in a heated room. Our product is based on high-quality modified road asphalt and basalt grits.
The high-quality production is ensured by the Factory Production Control system implemented in the company, which meets the requirements of the current National Technical Assessment No. IBDiM-KOT-2020/0433 issued by the Research Institute of Roads and Bridges (IBDiM) in Warsaw.
The CMA also has a valid Hygienic Certificate issued by the National Institute of Hygiene.
